This notice explains how Local Dates handles information sent through the customer and venue interest forms on this site.

What we collect and why
If you join the customer list, we collect your email address and your choice to receive launch updates. If you tell us about a venue, we collect the venue name, your name, email address, any website address you provide, and your choice to be contacted about the venue.
We use these details only to share Local Dates launch updates or to follow up about a possible venue listing, depending on the form you chose. We process these details on the basis of your consent. We do not use the information to create a member account or dating profile.
Who handles the information
Cloudflare provides the website hosting and database service we use to operate this interest list. We limit access to the requests to the Local Dates team and do not sell them or share them for another organisation’s marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep interest requests until the launch decision, then review whether they are still needed and remove records that are no longer needed. You can ask us to remove your request sooner.
Your choices
You can withdraw your consent, opt out of further email contact, or ask to see, correct, or delete the details you sent by emailing hello@local-dates.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Storage and security
Interest requests are encrypted when stored, and access to the inbox is restricted. Website services may process technical information to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its handling of service data.
